Aria Reserve North Tower Surpasses Halfway Mark In Edgewater, Miami

Construction has surpassed the halfway mark on the North Tower at Aria Reserve, the second skyscraper in Melo Group’s twin-tower luxury condominium development located at 725 NE 24th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica, with interiors by MORADA Haute Furniture Boutique and landscaping by ArquitectonicaGEO, the waterfront high-rise is planned to rise 62 stories and reach approximately 649 feet, yielding 391 condominium residences. Upon completion, Aria Reserve is expected to be the tallest pair of residential twin towers in the United States. Melo Group is the general contractor and L&R Structural is the shell contractor.

Recent aerial photos above Biscayne Bay’s waters reveal the latest progress on the North Tower’s superstructure. Slab work appears to have reached the 38th floor, placing the tower just shy of the 40-story mark and well past the halfway point. The dual yellow tower cranes remain active over the site, flanking the structure’s symmetrical form as construction continues to advance upward.

The reinforced concrete superstructure features a consistent floor plate configuration, with rounded slab edges defining the tower’s signature curved silhouette. Two elevator and stair cores rise along the western elevation, anchoring the structure from the rear. Floor-to-ceiling window installation has commenced on the lower levels, with several completed panels already in place and additional units staged nearby, still wrapped and ready for installation. While the building’s distinctive swirl motif—meant to mirror the south tower’s wave-like pattern—is not yet fully discernible, subtle curvature cuts along the slab edges hint at the design’s eventual alignment as glazing work continues upward.

With the south tower now nearly complete on the exterior, there’s little left to the imagination when envisioning the final appearance of the north tower, given their identical twin design. The two high-rises will ultimately be joined by a shared glass skybridge linking them to a multi-level parking structure, which itself will be topped with landscaped amenity decks. Additional amenity spaces will also front the edge of Biscayne Bay, enhancing the development’s connection to the waterfront and framing views across the bay.

Based on the current rate of vertical construction, the North Tower could top out sometime this summer, with full completion likely following in 2026. Together, the twin towers will yield 782 condominium residences and stand as a defining addition to Edgewater’s growing waterfront corridor.

Handsome looking pair, although the more rounded rendering shown immediately after the construction photos, would have been even more stunning. Crazy seeing so many residential skyscrapers going up at the same time.

    Great photography!
