‘Stafford at Artisan Lakes’ Nears End of Construction at 6100 Gillet Dr, Palmetto, FL

Stafford at Artisan Lakes, a multi-family housing development in Palmetto, is on track to finish construction by the end of this spring.

General contractor Verdex Construction broke ground on the project in 2023. Occupying a 21.16-acre parcel, the venture will offer 300 apartments spread across eight three-story buildings. The residences themselves span one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans measuring 705 to 1,326 square feet each. In-unit amenities include stainless steel energy-efficient appliances, quartz countertops, and private, screened-in patios. Select units will feature standalone rain showers, spacious storage closets, and backyard space.

Stafford at Artisan Lakes will offer a host of on-site amenities, including but not limited to an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse and dog park and co-working space. Residents will also have access to multiple parking garages and about 485 surface spots. BLDUP reports that at the time of publication, exterior work was complete, and contractors were putting the finishing touches on the interiors. The first move-ins are expected to take place in May.

The Collier Companies is the developer. Dynamik Design is the architect. The firm, an affiliate of Delray Beach-based The Kolter Group, also designed Alton Osprey. Like Stafford at Artisan Lakes, that project is nearing the end of construction. The latter 300-unit housing development is located at 6100 Gillet Dr, Palmetto, FL, 34221, in Manatee County.
