Related Group, Miami-Dade County Housing & Community Development, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools have announced the grand opening of Magnus Brickell, a newly completed, 29-story mixed-income residential tower located at 201 SW 10th Street in Brickell, Miami. The tower introduces 465 new rental residences and stands as the largest single-phase mixed-income residential development ever completed on the East Coast.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday evening, April 15, commemorating the delivery of the project and marking a significant milestone for affordable and workforce housing in the urban core.
Situated on the site of a former 96-unit senior housing complex and surface parking lot, the completed development has increased housing density by 500 percent. The project exemplifies Miami-Dade County’s growing focus on transit-oriented, public-private collaborations to address the region’s housing crisis.
“With our Magnus Brickell project, we are addressing the issue head-on, delivering much-needed, accessibly priced homes steps from public transit and everything the Brickell area has to offer,” said Albert Milo Jr., President of Related Urban Development Group.
Magnus Brickell features a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, with 93 units reserved for households earning 50% or less of the area median income (AMI) with HUD rental assistance, 70 units for households earning up to 140% of AMI, and 302 market-rate residences. The building’s income distribution model supports a diverse tenant population, including essential workers, seniors, and families.
Residents benefit from a robust amenity program that includes a resort-style pool, expansive sun deck, state-of-the-art fitness center, Wi-Fi-enabled coworking lounge, podcast recording studio, pet-friendly areas, and panoramic views of the Brickell skyline. Located less than one-eighth of a mile from the Brickell Metrorail station, the building promotes car-free mobility and urban connectivity.
Beyond its residential program, the development contributes public infrastructure enhancements. Working in coordination with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the project includes land for a new urban K-8 public school, currently under construction next to the tower, as well as 59 public parking spaces.
The successful delivery of Magnus Brickell reflects a comprehensive strategy to introduce high-density, equitable housing options within one of the city’s most rapidly evolving districts, combining public service integration, transit access, and high-quality design in a unified development framework.

Love it! I’m so glad they changed the name from “Gallery West Brickell” to what it is now. Much more fitting for the area.
However, it’s about 28 or 29 stories not 37 stories.
Corrected the floor count and address!
I’m sorry once again, but who in the world is designing these boring monsters? It’s a first year student design studio effort..in a sub par school. It doesn’t need to be a Zaha style building, but it needs to have a soul. They need to consult with talented architects to help with the design. Think of the subtle stoic yet playful forms of Arquitectonica in Brickell, or any of the fine examples of Chicago – historic or modern. This looks like it crushed it’s base under it’s own weight and is teetering with only one strong gust of wind away from becoming landfill material. Try better.
