Construction is officially underway on the Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach (The Residences), a 28-story luxury condominium tower set to rise on a two-acre oceanfront site at 1350 South Ocean Boulevard in Pompano Beach, Florida. Developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures in collaboration with Hilton, the project marks the debut of Waldorf Astoria’s standalone residential brand and its first entry into Broward County. The building is now over 70 percent sold.

Designed by Nichols Architects in collaboration with KORA, with interiors by BAMO and landscape design by Enea Garden Design, the tower will contain 92 condominium units ranging from two to five bedrooms, spanning 2,100 to 6,100 square feet. Four penthouse residences will range from $16 million to $20 million, with the top two penthouses featuring 3,200- to 3,500-square-foot rooftop terraces, private pools, air-conditioned lounges, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, and Pompano Beach skyline.

The building’s architectural program includes private elevator access for each unit, floor-to-ceiling glazing, and expansive terraces offering dual exposure to both oceanfront and intracoastal views. The tower’s orientation and tiered massing maximize frontage along the water while integrating indoor-outdoor flow throughout the residential layouts.

“This groundbreaking marks a major milestone, not only for our project but also in Pompano Beach’s emergence as the region’s next premier luxury destination,” said Nick Pérez, President of Related’s Condominium Division. “Pompano Beach’s transformation results from years of thoughtful private development and public investment. Our vision extends beyond The Residences, to shaping a community that blends understated sophistication with a deep connection to its coastal surroundings.”

Residents will have exclusive access to 200 linear feet of beachfront and a private marina with nearly two dozen boat slips. Amenity programming spans over 35,000 square feet, including a 20,000-square-foot oceanfront pool deck, summer kitchens, an outdoor bar and lounge, and an on-site spa featuring private treatment rooms and separate sauna and steam rooms. A ground-level restaurant, billiards lounge, children’s entertainment center, and multi-sport simulator are also included.

“Our family has controlled this standout site for over a decade, and always knew it deserved something truly extraordinary,” said Dev Motwani, CEO of Merrimac Ventures. “As we break ground, I’m proud to say we’re honoring that vision, offering an unparalleled lifestyle backed by the legendary Waldorf Astoria. It’s been incredible to see the market’s reception, with buyers helping us cross the 70-percent mark in such a short period.”

“As Hilton continues to expand its residential portfolio, we are honored to partner in bringing Waldorf Astoria’s first-ever branded residences to life,” said Jonathan Wingo, global head of residential programs at Hilton. “By combining Waldorf Astoria’s legacy of excellence with our deep expertise in world-class service and hospitality, The Residences redefine private homeownership and set a new benchmark for luxury condominium living.”

Indoor wellness amenities include a fitness center and movement studio, while curated indoor amenity areas will showcase museum-quality works from the Jorge M. Pérez Contemporary Art Collection. Signature Waldorf Astoria services—available 24/7—include in-residence dining, concierge support, housekeeping coordination, and poolside and beachside service.

The tower is being delivered in partnership with Hilton’s branded residences division and represents a continuation of Hilton’s expansion into luxury residential product lines. Completion is expected within the next several years.
