Florida YIMBY has learned of an update regarding a property we shared in January 2024. Ramos Development, LLC, along with Land Advisors Organization and ONX Homes, have submitted plans for a 96-unit affordable, for-sale townhome community. Its working name is “College Park Townhomes,” although it will be renamed at a later date with input from the City of St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg College.
City records report that there will be five two-bedroom/two-bathroom homes. Priced at $250,000, they would measure 1,470 square feet and be reserved for tenants earning up to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI).

Additionally, there would be 91 three-bedroom/three-bathroom units, measuring 1,600 square feet and available to tenants earning up to 120 percent of the AMI (so $300,000 to $357,000). Thirty percent of the homes (29) will be reserved for St. Petersburg College students, staff, and alumni, who also have the first right of refusal.
St. Pete Rising notes that the homes will be created using ONX’s proprietary “X” system, which includes using prefabricated walls and bathrooms to speed up construction––yielding a single home in just 30 days, the company claims. They can also withstand up to Category 4 hurricanes and maximize in-home energy efficiency.
Construction is anticipated to start on College Park Townhomes in the first quarter of 2026 and conclude in mid-2027. It’s planned for 7045 Burlington Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33710, in Pinellas County.
