The residential aspect of a major mixed-use development has received approval in Tampa.
Ashley East Tampa will be part of the larger East Tampa Live-Learn project, offering 118 affordable housing units. Residency will be reserved for those earning 30, 50, 60, and 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). According to the U.S. Census, Tampa’s median household income was $71,302 as of the latest survey.

Floorplans range from studio to two-bedroom models, intended to serve both individuals and families. Ashley East Tampa will host 200 parking spots, averaging to about 1.7 per unit. They will be available to both tenants and visitors of a nearby job training center.
Tampa’s Community Redevelopment Agency Board (CRA) approved $10 million in funding to make the residential aspect of the East Tampa Live-Learn project possible. Floridian Development notes that this figure represents just 22 percent of the larger development’s overall cost. While Ashley East Tampa still needs various approvals to proceed, developer Integral Group hopes to start construction in the second quarter of 2026.
