ANF has completed construction on the Big Cypress Senior Center & Preschool for the Seminole Tribe of Florida at the Big Cypress Indian Reservation in Clewiston.
Located on Josie Billie Highway, the project introduces two new community-oriented facilities. The Big Cypress Senior Center spans 21,000 square feet and features a cafeteria and flexible event area, commercial kitchen, game room, pottery lab, fitness room, showers, and administrative offices. The building is designed with resiliency in mind, incorporating a full generator and the ability to function as a hurricane shelter.

Next door, the Big Cypress Preschool measures 34,700 square feet and accommodates children between the ages of one and five. The program includes classrooms, a cafeteria, kitchen, administrative offices, and an open-air playground.
“This project reflects our commitment to building spaces that serve, support, and strengthen communities,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF. “It’s been an honor to work with the STOF Tribal Community Development on these essential facilities, and we’re proud to contribute to their long-term vision of wellness, education, and cultural preservation.”
The Seminole Tribe of Florida, a federally recognized sovereign tribal government, delivers services and care to its members across South Florida’s reservations and satellite communities.
