Lake Nona in Orlando will become the new home of Siemens Energy’s Orlando offices, as the global energy technology company announced plans to relocate to Lake Nona Town Center. The move will place Siemens Energy in more than 242,000 square feet of office space at 6876 Marwick Lane, a newly completed Class A building designed for high-performance energy efficiency and modern workplace flexibility. The new location situates the company within Lake Nona’s walkable urban core, surrounded by restaurants, hotels, residences, fitness and wellness amenities, and public art.

Tavistock Group, developer of Lake Nona, emphasized that the relocation reflects the district’s growing role as a magnet for both emerging firms and global corporations. The company points to Lake Nona’s focus on wellbeing, connectivity, and quality of life as factors that strengthen its position as a hub for business and talent.

Orlando officials highlighted the move as further evidence of the city’s reputation as a national destination for forward-thinking companies. The arrival of Siemens Energy is seen as a strategic fit for Lake Nona’s innovation ecosystem, given the central role of energy in advancing other regional industries including health and life sciences, technology, aviation, and aerospace.

Lake Nona spans 17 square miles and has been designed around clusters of excellence in health, sports, education, and technology. Its commercial environment is paired with amenities that appeal to today’s workforce, including mobility solutions, wellness programs, cultural venues, and recreational green space.

Siemens Energy has operated from its Alafaya Trail campus for more than 40 years, employing just under 3,000 people. The 2027 relocation will support the company’s hybrid work model, while maintaining its workforce scale and providing space for long-term expansion. Across North America, Siemens Energy employs more than 13,000 people and is planning additional job growth. The new campus will introduce flexible workspaces, enhanced technology, and collaborative areas within a sustainable, energy-efficient building.

The relocation was made possible through coordination between Lake Nona, the City of Orlando, the Orlando Economic Partnership, and the Orlando Utilities Commission. Its proximity to Orlando International Airport, Brightline’s high-speed rail, and major highways including State Routes 417 and 528 and Florida’s Turnpike offers direct connectivity to Florida’s business corridors and international markets.
