Abbott M 6945 intends to move forward with a boutique hotel that would replace a smaller, 11-room hotel in Miami Beach.
The unnamed venture would measure six stories above grade and comprise 48 rooms measuring about 300 square feet each. Rooms would either have a single king bed or two queen beds, and future guests would have access to a variety of amenities, such as a fitness center, rooftop lounge, and swimming pool. The venture’s ground floor would also host the hotel’s lobby and about 1,110 square feet of commercial space.

As noted, Abbott M 6945 is the developer. The South Florida-based firm has partnered with M77R Architecture to make the project possible. Conceptual renderings show a low-rise building with a perforated metal façade, sporting a clean, sleek silhouette. It would measure 90 feet at its highest point.
The Miami Beach Design Review Board intends to review plans for the hotel in late October. If approved, it would replace M Hotel, a three-star hotel that was built in 1980. The new hotel would more than quadruple the number of rooms on the 6,150-square-foot build site.
Abbott M 6945’s boutique hotel would occupy 6945 Abbott Ave, Miami Beach, FL, 33141, in Miami-Dade County.
