Construction is underway on Residences at East End, an affordable housing development in Tampa.
The venture will comprise five, three-story buildings with 174 units – each outfitted with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Of the 174 units, 43 will receive Section 8 vouchers from the Tampa Housing Authority. The rent for the remaining units will be based on household income. According to the City of Tampa, residency will be reserved for households earning 22 to 80 percent of the area median income, which is about $32,000 to $83,000 for a family of four.

Residences at East End will offer a host of on-site amenities, including (but not limited to) a dog park, fitness center, and various outdoor recreational activities. Construction is intended to end by late 2026.
The Related Group of Miami is the developer. The project has been made possible with more than $68 million in financing. The Related Group has many projects in its South Florida pipeline, including The Quay. The project is planned to measure 33 stories and comprise more than 500 homes. It’s being developed in partnership with BH Group and Pebb Enterprises.
Residences at East End is undergoing sitework at 5709 N 47th St, Tampa, Florida, 33610, in Hillsborough County.
