Two developers are proceeding with a luxury multi-family housing project in Southwest Florida.
Tapestry Sarasota is set to comprise 325 units, with floorplans including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom models. According to Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, the community is “designed to appeal to professionals, families and active adults.”
Pricing for Tapestry Sarasota would be in the low to mid-$2,000s. RentCafé notes that the average cost of an apartment in Sarasota is $2,111. Communal amenities at Tapestry Sarasota will include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness and wellness center, and co-working space. Residents will also have access to various pet-friendly amenities.

Arlington Properties and Battery Global Advisors (BGA) are the developers. The pair recently purchased Tapestry Sarasota’s 18.47-acre build site for $18.42 million – equating to about $1 million an acre. Construction is currently underway; the first units will be delivered in late 2027, with the entire project achieving completion the following year.
Tapestry Sarasota is just one of many projects set for Sarasota County. Two projects in the works include two affordable housing ventures: Cypress Square II and Lofts on Lemon II. The two mark the second phase of their respective developments.
