The h.wood Group is bringing a new Tokyo-inspired speakeasy to RIVANI Miami Beach, the $100 million office redevelopment by investor and developer Robert Rivani. The Los Angeles hospitality company, known for its dining and nightlife portfolio, will introduce a concealed cocktail lounge within the project’s third floor amenity level.
RIVANI Miami Beach is positioned as a Class X office environment in South Beach with a focus on hospitality, wellness, and design. The hidden venue will be accessed through a discreet entry and feature interiors influenced by Shōwa era aesthetics. Warm lighting, vintage textures, and curated vinyl selections will shape the atmosphere, referencing mid-century Japanese cocktail lounges.

“Hidden within RIVANI Miami Beach, the concept is crafted to feel like a discovery. Intimate, effortless, and made for long nights that turn into mornings,” said The h.wood Group Co-Founders Brian Toll and John Terzian. “For us, great spaces are driven by atmosphere and connection, and this one captures both through a distinctly Miami lens.”
Scheduled to open in Summer 2026, the speakeasy will serve handcrafted cocktails and small plates in a setting designed for privacy. Tenants at RIVANI Miami Beach will have exclusive access for meetings and events, along with keyed lockers for personal spirits storage.

“We are giving our tenants the ability to entertain like they are at a private members club in Tokyo, right here in Miami Beach,” said Robert Rivani, President of RIVANI. “The h.wood Group has mastered the art of creating spaces that people remember, and bringing their energy and hospitality experience to RIVANI Miami Beach perfectly complements our vision to create environments that redefine how people work, play, and live.”
The concept adds to Rivani’s broader repositioning of the office property, which recently secured Playboy Enterprises as its anchor tenant. The development is designed by Rockwell Group and will include a full service concierge, valet, wellness and fitness facilities with Monarch Athletic Club, private event spaces, and additional amenities that align with the project’s hospitality driven approach.
