Florida YIMBY has an update regarding Ponce Park, a venture that’s been evolving for more than five years.

Construction has officially started on the luxury mixed-use venture, with completion slated for early 2028. Ponce Park is set to measure 11 stories above grade and comprise 58 condos. Floorplans will range from two-bedroom to five-bedroom homes, featuring some penthouses.

Residences will measure 1,900 to more than 6,500 square feet; in-unit features are set to include summer kitchens, high ceilings, and balconies with views of the greater Coral Gables area. The cost of ownership currently starts at $3.1 million. At the time of publication, the South Florida Business Journal reported that 40 percent of the homes were pre-sold; sales formally launched earlier this January.

Communal amenities at Ponce Park will include (but aren’t limited to) a rooftop swimming pool, fitness studio, and sky bar. Ponce Park will also host 25,000 square feet of retail, the tenants of which have not been announced.

Allen Morris Co. is the developer. Kast Construction is the general contractor. Zyscovich Architects designed the venture. Meyer Davis Studio did the interior design.

Ponce Park is unfolding on a 1.2-acre site, located at 3000 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, Florida, 33134, in Miami-Dade County.

  1. This neo classical style is beautiful…I wish there were more developers who would embrace this type of architecture
