Ocean Bank has provided a $70 million construction loan to Central Aventura LLC for a planned 9-story mixed-use commercial building at the northeast corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 209th Street in Aventura. The project, known as Central Aventura, will rise on a 1.6-acre site and is slated to include the city’s first multi-story digital billboard screen integrated into the structure.
Plans call for a total of 142,153 square feet of rental space. Of that figure, approximately 75,270 square feet will be dedicated to retail uses, while 63,883 square feet will be built out as office space. Retail will occupy the first three stories of the building, followed by four levels of structured parking. The top two floors will be reserved for office tenants.
“We are extremely excited to be a part of a project within the great City of Aventura that will be a Tier 1 destination to the city,” said Jacobo Cababie Dichi, principal of Central Aventura LLC.
The property sits along a high-traffic stretch of Biscayne Boulevard and is adjacent to Ocean Bank’s Aventura branch, positioning the development within one of the city’s primary commercial corridors.

Senior Vice President Jesus Garcia arranged the loan on behalf of Ocean Bank.
