Developer Wilton Manors Property Owner LLC, a partnership between Stiles Corp. and Timothy L. Hernandez, intends to move forward with a mixed-use residential project in Wilton Manors.

The project involves revamping part of the 78,600-square-foot Shoppes at Wilton Manors with an 82-unit residential development. Minutes from the City of Wilton Manors report that the homes would be in two five-story buildings, and there would be a total of 52,069 square feet of commercial space – 1 4,733 of which would be new retail buildings and another 3,850 square feet of which would be for outdoor dining.

In January 2026, the developers submitted a rezoning request that would redesignate the 5.4-acre site from Wilton Drive Arts and Entertainment District (WDAE) to Planned Unit Development Mixed (PUD-M).

Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles purchased the Shoppes of Wilton Manors (originally constructed in the 1950s) for $27.6 million in December 2024. The firm previously owned the property from 2004 to 2007. The site measures just over 236,000 square feet. The construction of the apartments will decrease the overall amount of commercial space currently on the site.

The mixed-use project is set to occupy 2200 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, Florida, 33305, in Broward County.

  1. Two years ago the Broward County Inspector General calls out Wilton Manors for “Gross Mismanagement” concerning how they awarded their parking contract to the second lowest bidder. Next month they won’t even bid out their next parking contract and just stay with that second lowest bidder. What does that tell you about the city commission? Don’t make me connect all the dots. It’s called corruption.

  2. Wilton manors looks like a small poor town. When it should look like downtown Fort lauderdale… so much potential Wilton manners- look like and act like a city. Such a good vibe and energy along Wilton Drive make it a downtown get some buildings over three stories for goodness sakes!
