Banyan Tree Residences West Palm Beach has launched as the first U.S. residential project from Banyan Group’s flagship Banyan Tree brand. Developed by Mast Capital and Curated JCZM Development in collaboration with Banyan Group, the project is planned for 400 Hibiscus Street in downtown West Palm Beach, located one block from CityPlace and two blocks from the Intracoastal Waterway. The development will bring 88 residences to one of South Florida’s fastest-growing residential markets.
The project is designed by OMA, the firm founded by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg and landscape design by Enzo Enea. The tower is being conceived as a dual-form structure with 88 private residences in one- to four-bedroom layouts, along with a limited collection of penthouses. According to the development team, every home is designed as a corner residence with multidirectional exposure intended to maximize access to light, air, and views. Residences will also feature wraparound terraces, while most homes will include direct private elevator entry.

“Introducing the first Banyan Tree in the United States represents a defining moment for both the brand and this partnership,” said Camilo Miguel Jr., Founder and CEO of Mast Capital. “West Palm Beach is emerging as a global residential destination – one defined by permanence, cultural depth, and long-term vision. This residential project reflects a highly deliberate collaboration with an unprecedented group of visionaries aligned around a singular ambition and shared pursuit of design excellence, enduring quality, and a deeply considered approach to living, developed to resonate for generations and contribute meaningfully to the future of West Palm Beach.”
According to the announcement, the architecture and interiors will emphasize natural materials, restrained detailing, and sustainability principles aligned with Banyan Group’s broader hospitality ethos. The project marks Banyan Group’s entry into the U.S. market through its first residential offering under the Banyan Tree brand, which has built a global presence through resorts and branded residences in destinations across more than 20 countries.
“The United States represents an important market for Banyan Group, and American travelers have long been among our most valued guests across our resorts worldwide,” said Ho Kwon Ping, Founder and Executive Chairman of Banyan Group. “We are pleased to make our debut through Banyan Tree Residences West Palm Beach. The city’s cultural energy, strong sense of place, and growing appreciation for purposeful living align closely with our values, and we look forward to introducing our distinctive approach to branded residential living while contributing thoughtfully to its evolving residential landscape.”
The property will rise within one of downtown West Palm Beach’s most walkable districts, with CityPlace, Royal Poinciana Plaza, Palm Beach Island, Worth Avenue, and the Intracoastal Waterway all nearby. The development is being positioned as a private residential retreat within the urban core, combining access to dining, shopping, entertainment, and waterfront destinations with a hospitality-driven amenity package.
“Banyan Tree Residences represents a pivotal moment for West Palm Beach, pairing an exceptional downtown address with the renowned legacy of Banyan Tree,” said Josh Simon, Co-Founder and Partner of Curated JCZM Development. “The brand’s expansion into this market underscores the city’s emergence on the world stage, offering residents an experience that is both deeply connected to place and unmistakably international in character.”
Amenities will span multiple levels and include a private porte cochère, a resort-style pool, social and recreation spaces, and a wellness-focused program anchored by a spa and treatment facilities. Planned wellness features include deluxe treatment rooms, cryotherapy, a hammam, and meditation spaces. Residents will also have access to The Sanctuary Club, which will provide preferred access to Banyan Group’s global network of hotels, resorts, spas, and galleries.
Sales are led exclusively by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing and pricing starting at $1.9 million.
