Developer RG Realty Investments has submitted plans for a mixed-use project in unincorporated Miami-Dade County. The unnamed venture, rising nine stories, would comprise both residences and ground-floor retail.
Current plans call for 110 apartments, with floorplans ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layouts. Floridian Development reports that a majority of the homes would be 700-square-foot, one-bedroom layouts; the largest units would top out at about 1,400 square feet. In-unit features will include floor-to-ceiling impact-proof windows, balconies, and 12-foot-high ceilings.

On-site amenities are set to include a rooftop swimming pool and hot tub, green space, and multiple lounging areas. In addition to the residential aspect, the nine-story project would feature 25,250 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Both residents and shoppers would have access to the 282 parking spots, which would be housed in a multi-level garage.
The Gado Group designed the mid-rise building. The project has a unique design: interlocking pieces connected by two sky bridges. As noted, RG Realty Investments is the developer. The firm assembled the 2.66-acre build site for a combined $2 million. Most of the buildings formerly on the site have been demolished, save for one last standing structure.
If brought to fruition, the nine-story building would occupy 14501 W Dixie Highway (Harriet Tubman Highway) and 1595 NE 145th Street, Miami, Florida, 33161, in Miami-Dade County.
