Vertical construction is underway at The Rider Residences, a 12-story boutique condominium development at 94 NE 29th Street in Miami. The project is being developed through a joint venture between South Florida-based Ciprés and Rilea Group, with Beauchamp Construction serving as the general contractor. Following several months of foundation work, the development team has begun assembling the tower’s superstructure, with construction progressing at an estimated pace of roughly one floor every one to two weeks through topping out later this year. Completion of the project is currently anticipated in 2027.
The site is positioned at the crossroads of Miami’s Wynwood, Midtown, Edgewater, and Design District neighborhoods. Upon completion, the building will contain 152 fully furnished residential units along with approximately 11,000 square feet of ground-floor and rooftop retail and food and beverage space.

“Commencing vertical construction is a defining milestone for both Ciprés and Rilea Group and reflects years of thoughtful planning and collaboration,” said Diego Ojeda, Founder of Ciprés and President of Rilea Group. “From the beginning, The Rider was conceived not as a commodity building, but as a rare collectible piece of architecture. In a market driven by scale, we chose precision – creating something petite, with the cultural edge of a boutique hotel and the permanence of a legacy asset.”

Residential offerings will include fully furnished studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units along with penthouses. Floor plans range from approximately 386 to 1,612 square feet, with some layouts incorporating dens and additional half bathrooms. Pricing has been reported to start around $650,000 and extend to approximately $2.5 million.
More than 50 percent of the residences are pre-sold, with interest reported from buyers based in Europe, South America, and New York. In late 2025, the development secured a $90 million construction loan from Mexico’s Banco Inbursa. The project has also incorporated the option for direct cryptocurrency transactions. Sales and marketing for the development are being handled exclusively by Cervera Real Estate.

“Reaching vertical construction is a meaningful validation point for buyers and reinforces the strong momentum we’ve seen since launch,” said Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, Managing Partner of Cervera Real Estate. “The Rider distinguishes itself through fully furnished, design-forward residences, flexible ownership, and lifestyle-driven amenities at a compelling entry point for new construction in Wynwood. Equally important is the credibility of Ciprés and Rilea Group, whose track record of investing early in emerging neighborhoods and delivering quality product gives buyers confidence in the long-term vision.”
The building is designed by Miami-based Deforma Studio. The façade draws inspiration from industrial architecture associated with Chicago and New York’s SoHo and Meatpacking District neighborhoods, incorporating exposed brick, steel, and concrete materials alongside contemporary elements suited to Miami’s design culture.

Interior spaces are designed by RADYCA, a Miami-based studio known for luxury residential and hospitality projects. The interiors incorporate midcentury-inspired furnishings and artwork sourced from Morrison Hotel Gallery in Los Angeles and Iconic Images Gallery in London.
Residential units will feature open-plan layouts with Italian Bertazzoni appliances, Italkraft cabinetry, Spanish Cosentino Dekton countertops, Porcelanosa fixtures, smart home technology with keyless entry, and impact-resistant windows.
Amenities will include a rooftop pool deck overlooking the city, a restaurant and bar accessible by private elevator, private office suites, a vinyl listening room, a pet spa, and a fitness center. Additional wellness features include cold plunge pools, infrared saunas, and a traditional marble hammam. The building will also offer valet service, electric vehicle charging stations, and a private parking garage, along with a fleet of shared vehicles including Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Vespas, and electric bicycles available for residents.
