The Perigon Miami Beach has topped out at 5333 Collins Avenue in the Mid-Beach section of Miami Beach, reaching its full 17-story height along the Atlantic Ocean shoreline. The luxury condominium tower is being developed by Mast Capital in a joint venture with a controlled affiliate of Starwood Capital Group and is designed by OMA. Moss Construction is serving as the general contractor. According to the development team, the project is the first new oceanfront residential tower from the current development cycle in Miami Beach to reach the topping-out stage. Completion of the project is anticipated in 2027.

Recent photographs show the reinforced concrete superstructure now fully formed, revealing the tower’s distinctive sculptural massing and stacked floor plates. The structure rises above an open ground level supported by cylindrical concrete columns that elevate the residential floors above the beachfront landscape. This recessed base creates a breezeway beneath the tower while framing views through the site toward the Atlantic Ocean.

The building’s architecture is defined by rounded cantilevered floor slabs that extend beyond the façade to create deep wraparound terraces along the perimeter. The stacked slab edges produce a layered profile when viewed from the beach and reinforce the tower’s diamond-shaped plan. Portions of the façade are already visible within several completed levels, while the curved balcony soffits and exposed concrete slab edges emphasize the building’s strong horizontal expression.

“Reaching this milestone marks the full realization of The Perigon’s architectural vision,” said Camilo Miguel, Jr., CEO and Founder of Mast Capital.

“From the outset, our ambition was to create a timeless oceanfront landmark, one that would elevate Mid-Beach and leave a lasting imprint on Miami Beach’s skyline. As buyers increasingly seek architecture of substance and longevity, The Perigon has emerged as a defining expression of this moment in the market.”

Designed by the internationally recognized architecture firm OMA, founded by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, the project marks the firm’s first residential development in Miami Beach. The tower’s diamond-shaped footprint is composed of layered volumes oriented to maximize views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. The structure rises from landscaped grounds designed by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, the landscape architect behind the public gardens surrounding the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The development will contain 72 condominium residences ranging from two- to four-bedroom layouts. Interiors are designed by Tara Bernerd and feature expansive floor plans with wraparound terraces intended to extend living spaces toward the oceanfront.

Some of the largest homes are part of the building’s 01 Collection, which features four-bedroom residences beginning at 4,869 square feet of interior space with an additional 1,512 square feet of terraces. These residences include oceanfront kitchens with custom Italian cabinetry, more than 40 feet of uninterrupted living and entertaining space, and primary suites designed with direct terrace access overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

“Architectural distinction has been a key driver of demand, as buyers increasingly seek a true power address, one that is instantly recognizable,” said Philip Freedman, Sales Director at The Perigon.

“Now at its full architectural height, OMA’s vision stands unmistakable along the shoreline. As we approach completion, the building’s character and presence will be fully experienced by both residents and the broader community.”

The Perigon will include more than 20,000 square feet of resident amenities. Planned features include Nota, an oceanfront dining venue, and FiftyThree, a residents-only lounge, both led by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt. Additional amenities include a 25-meter beachfront lap pool, private beach club, spa and wellness facilities, a fitness center, screening room, and a double-height lobby lounge.

Residents will also have access to a lifestyle concierge, residential butler service, 24-hour security, valet service, house car service, and pool and beach attendants. The property’s location at 5333 Collins Avenue places it within Mid-Beach and within close proximity to destinations such as the Bass Museum of Art, Bal Harbour Shops, and cultural events including Art Basel Miami Beach.

Exclusive sales and marketing for the development is being handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. According to the development team, the project is approaching sellout ahead of completion, with remaining residences currently priced from $12.55 million.
