Next week, the Coral Gables Development Review Committee intends to review plans for a boutique condominium that would replace three single-family homes.
Roger Development Group wants to proceed with a four-story structure that would host 25 units, with floorplans ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layouts. Most would err on the larger side.
Though 300 Malaga gives the appearance of five stories, only four would be occupiable; the rooftop amenities would give the appearance of a higher floor. The building tops out at 56 feet above grade. Communal amenities would be on the building’s rooftop; features include a swimming pool, fitness center, and barbeque pits. There would also be below-ground parking, offering 55 spaces – averaging to about 2.2 spots per unit.

Roger Development Group purchased 300 Malaga’s build site for $7.25 million in late 2025. Traded reports that Oscar Roger Sr. of Roger Development Group was the buyer; Amalia Beunza is listed along with others as the seller.
Nichols Architects designed 300 Malaga. Floridian Development reported that its design “pays tribute to the assemblage of rich Architectural styles in Coral Gables. The inspiration for our residential project is French style architecture and several historic French-themed villages around the city.”
300 Malaga is expected to get approval from the Review Committee; it’s slated for 300 Malaga Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida, 33134, in Miami-Dade County.
