META Development has completed the land assemblage for Colette Residences, a five-story boutique condominium development planned for 1870 and 1880 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s South Brickell neighborhood. The developer also secured an $18.5 million acquisition and development loan from BridgeCity Capital to support the advancement of the 38-residence project, which is being designed by Brazilian firm OSPA.
The financing includes the acquisition of 1880 Brickell Avenue and the refinancing of the existing loan at 1870 Brickell Avenue, consolidating the capital structure across the full development site. The completed assemblage combines two adjacent parcels totaling approximately 0.8 acres along Brickell Avenue, creating a unified site within one of Miami’s established residential corridors.

META Development acquired the second parcel for $10,999,500, bringing the total acquisition cost for the assemblage to $21.5 million.
“Completing the assemblage at 1870–1880 Brickell Avenue marks a significant milestone for META Development and for Colette Residences,” said Andrew Rasken, CEO of META Development. “Opportunities to assemble sites of this scale in Brickell are increasingly rare. This milestone allows us to move forward with a clear vision to deliver a thoughtfully designed residential offering that responds to the evolving expectations of today’s buyer while remaining grounded in the character of the neighborhood.”
The $18.5 million loan from BridgeCity Capital will support pre-development activities, including planning, design coordination, and entitlement progress, as META Development moves the project into its next phase.
Colette Residences is planned as a boutique luxury condominium with 38 residences, including two penthouses, within a five-story structure. Residences will offer two- to four-bedroom layouts with flexible floor plans and an emphasis on indoor-outdoor living.
The amenity program is expected to include a 50-foot pool with private cabanas, a 5,200-square-foot sun deck, and approximately 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space. Additional components include a wellness spa with a jacuzzi, steam room, and saunas, along with a screening room, children’s playroom, meeting spaces, private storage for each residence, covered self-parking with EV charging capability, and optional valet service.
The project is being positioned within META Development’s “Go Boutique” approach, which focuses on smaller-scale residential buildings in established urban locations. Along Brickell Avenue, Colette Residences would introduce a lower-rise condominium format in a market more commonly associated with large-scale residential towers.
Located in South Brickell, the development site is near waterfront parks, business districts, dining, retail, and cultural destinations. Completion is slated for 2028.
