Construction has topped out on the AdventHealth Auburndale ER, a new 13,000-square-foot emergency department under construction at 1036 US Highway 92 West in Auburndale, Florida. The milestone was marked on July 24 with the placement of the building’s final structural beam. Developed by AdventHealth, the facility is being built by Robins & Morton, with HuntonBrady serving as the architect. The project is scheduled to open to patients in early 2027.

The emergency department is designed to expand access to emergency medical services in the growing Polk County region. Upon completion, the facility will feature 12 private exam rooms, advanced diagnostic imaging including X-ray, CT, and ultrasound, a full-service laboratory for rapid test results, pediatric emergency care, pharmacy services, and respiratory therapy.

The new facility is expected to create more than 35 new jobs upon opening.
