A Florida non-profit organization is proceeding with a senior housing development in Boynton Beach. The project marks the first continuing care retirement community (CCRC) built in Palm Beach County since 2016.
The Winsberg at Green Cay will measure three stories above grade and feature 510,000 square feet of new construction. Plans call for 220 residences: 189 independent living units and 32 assisted living and memory care units. Multi-Housing News reports that at the time of publication, more than 70 percent of the homes at the Winsberg at Green Cay were already under contract.
Residents would have access to a comprehensive suite of amenities, including but not limited to a fitness center, swimming pool, and pickleball court. There would also be on-site dining options, such as a bar and bistro.
Green Cay Life Plan Village, Inc. is leading the project. The non-for-profit entity is developing the project alongside Greenbrier Development LLC and BRP Senior Housing Management LLC. Moss Construction is the general contractor; the firm intends to have construction completed by late 2028.
The Winsberg at Green Cay is anticipated to cost more than $380 million to complete. The development is slated for Flavor Pict Road and South Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL, 33437, in Palm Beach County.
