Two developers are moving forward with a workforce housing project in Palm Beach County.
534 Datura is slated to measure 25 stories above grade and feature 261 residences – 40 percent of which (184.4) would be designated as workforce housing. The County defines workforce housing as housing generally reserved for households earning within 60 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI).
Palm Beach County’s median income was $104,000 as of 2024, according to official records.

Communal amenities at 534 Datura would include a co-working center, spa, and fitness center. Additional key features include a 1,600-square-foot lobby and 6,371-square-foot pool deck. Other non-residential aspects include 4,600 square feet of retail and a 64-spot parking garage.
In total, the high-rise would require 281,000 square feet of new construction. Rybak Development and Gold Standard of Care are the two developers; they are based in New York and Fort Lauderdale, respectively. The latter owns the half-acre build site, which currently hosts a 200-bed nursing home. It will be relocated prior to the start of construction. IMC Architecture is the architect.
534 Datura is set for 534 Datura St, West Palm Beach, FL, 33401, in Palm Beach County.
