El-Ad National Properties Renames $1 Billion Davie Development The Plaza Davie District

El-Ad National Properties has announced that The District at Davie, a $1 billion mixed-use development under construction in Davie, Broward County, has been renamed The Plaza Davie District. The 2.8 million-square-foot development is planned to yield five residential towers across three phases, with the first building rising 22 stories at 4820 Park Way. The project team includes architecture firm Cooper Carry, general contractor Promethean Builders LLC, and Naples-based interior designer CID Design Group.

The announcement follows the topping out of the first building, marking the structural completion of the 288-unit Phase One tower. Construction remains underway, with updated signage and fencing being introduced to reflect the new name. Completion of the first phase is targeted for early 2027.

At full buildout, The Plaza Davie District is planned to contain approximately 1,292 rental residences, 36,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and 1.1 million square feet of access-controlled parking accommodating 2,650 vehicles.

The revised branding includes a palm tree logo and a visual identity coordinated with the development’s interior color palette. According to El-Ad, the name also references the company’s history with The Plaza Hotel in New York, where its redevelopment incorporated residential and hospitality uses.

The branding, architecture and interiors are all aligned in that vision.” “From its design to its amenities, this is being built as a true destination in the heart of Davie.”

“The Plaza Davie District exemplifies the Town’s vision for the Residential, Industrial, Social, and Export (RISE) District, which is designed to encourage mixed use that supports key target industries, including international trade, advanced technology, and manufacturing and distribution,” said Mayor Judy Paul of the Town of Davie.

Planned outdoor spaces include palm-lined pathways and landscaped areas connecting the development’s residential and commercial components. Amenities across the buildings are expected to include rooftop pools, coworking spaces, pet parks, children’s play areas, 24-hour fitness facilities, spa treatment rooms, outdoor kitchens, game lounges, and a reservable Sky Lounge.

Residences will feature high-speed internet, smart thermostats, and keyless entry, with private terraces planned on each residential floor. Some apartments are expected to offer views of the Guitar Hotel at the nearby Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The development is situated near Interstate 595, with connections to Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 75. Nearby destinations include Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades, and the South Florida Education Center, which includes Nova Southeastern University.
