On October 13, the Boca Raton City Council approved plans for a mid-rise luxury residential endeavor named “Park Tower at Broken Sound.”

The eight-story project will yield 97 residences and host just over 185,000 square feet of new construction. Floorplans will include two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, with the average unit hovering around 1,470 square feet. Of the 97 residences, 10 would be for households earning at or below 120 percent of the area median income (AMI).

Palm Beach County’s median income is $104,000, according to HUD.

In addition to the homes, Park Tower at Broken Sound is slated to host a variety of communal amenities, including but not limited to a swimming pool, fitness center, and lounge with a billiards table and golf simulator. There will also be two levels of structured parking totaling 89,976 square feet, according to the South Florida Business Journal. Additional plans call for 2,100 square feet of retail, which will be housed in its own standalone building.

Compson Associates is the developer. Vander Ploeg and Associates is the architect.

Park Tower at Broken Sound is set for 1075 and 1095 Broken Sound Pkwy NW, Boca Raton, FL, 33487, in Palm Beach County.
