Skyway Lofts is expected to open in March 2022, according to the venture’s website. The two-building, mid-rise community will offer 16 one-bedroom units and 49 two-bedroom units, a total of 65 residences. Units come with energy-efficient appliances, kitchens, storage closets, and private bathrooms. Communal amenities include a clubhouse, on-site laundry facility, bike rack, and free parking.
Construction began on the venture in Spring 2021, with NDC Construction Company operating as the general contractor. Blue Skies Communities, LLC owns Skyway Lofts, its first community in Saint Petersburg. It will cost over $5 million to complete. High Point Engineering is the civil engineer.
Rent information is openly available online. Skyway Lofts is a restricted-income community, reserved for those making less than 80 percent of the median area income.
Homes are limited to single people making no more than $41,360 a year to five people making no more than $63,840 a year total. Rent depends on a unit’s size. One-bedroom units start at $346 a month, while two-bedroom units start at $402 a month, depending on applicants’ financial resources. Interested parties can click here to apply.
