World Equestrian Center Hotel is undergoing construction in Ocala, Florida. The $11.7 million venture will offer 400 suite-like rooms in a five-story building. This will be the second hotel on the World Equestrian Center’s 378-acre campus.
Unlike its first hotel (Equestrian Hotel), this one will allow pets, which appeals to many prospective visitors, according to the Ocala StarBanner. The first hotel, which opened in 2021, has 248 rooms.
World Equestrian Center Hotel’s amenities include a grab-and-go food court, fitness area, on-site washers and dryers, pool, and lawn games. Visitors will also enjoy the area’s surrounding restaurants.
At this time, there’s no information regarding how much room rates are. However, Equestrian Hotel’s rooms go from anywhere from $300 to $3,500 a night, depending on the room’s size and amenities. Units are designed for both extended-stay and short-term guests.
The hotel, which will comprise more than 40,000 square feet of new construction, will reach completion in June 2024. Paramount Construction LLC is the general contractor, and Nash Inc. is the mechanical engineer. World Equestrian Center owns the hotel; this is its only active project.
World Equestrian Center Hotel is located in Ocala, Florida, in Marion County. As noted, it’s near the already-existing Equestrian Hotel, which is located at 1750 NW 80th Ave, Ocala, FL, 34482.
