Saltaire is a new mixed-use development planned for Walton County, Florida. The $123.9 million venture, located on a 24.5-acre build site, will include 256 apartments. NWF Daily News reports that 88 homes are studio apartments, while the remaining 168 homes will offer more than one bedroom. The homes are spread across multiple low-rise buildings.
In addition to the residences, Saltaire will offer more than 34,000 square feet of commercial space, according to Elm, Inc. Most of the commercial space will comprise a grocery store, with smaller businesses and amenities. Saltaire will require more than 440,000 square feet of new construction.
Construction could start in August 2022 and take about 18 months to complete. ELM (Ervin Lovett & Miller) is the architect, and O’Connell & Associates is the civil engineer. They designed the community to center around various communal amenities, including a sizeable dog park, pedestrian trails, and a resort-style pool. Amenities will also expand on an already-existing park near the build site.
Saltire in Walton County is unaffiliated with the Saltaire housing development in St. Petersburg. The Pinellas County complex is a 35-story building that recently sold the last of its 192 high-end homes.
Saltaire in Walton County’s address is 3667 US-98, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, 32459.
