Deland, Florida, could soon be home to a new housing development that’s estimated to cost $224 million to complete. Meet Trinity Gardens. The Deland City Commission approved the rezoning request in May 2021. The 184-acre development will comprise 543 homes. Of those homes, plans call for 425 single-family homes and 118 townhomes.
The West Volusia Beacon reports that 330 of the single-family homes will rest on 50-foot-wide lots, while the remaining 95 will sit on 60-foot-wide lots. Communal amenities comprise a swimming pool, children’s playground, and walking trails. Trinity Gardens will have three entrances for residents’ convenience. Civil engineers are working to incorporate the area’s natural wetlands into the community’s landscape.
In May 2022, GrowthSpotter reported that Trinity Gardens will reach completion in four phases. The publication reports that the first phase will deliver 106 detached home lots. The second phase will bring forth the coveted communal amenities, as well as 85 single-family homes and 118 townhomes. The townhouse buildings cannot comprise more than six units each––and each unit must feature a two-car garage.
Sources report that Trinity Gardens could start construction in March 2023. Cobb Cole––Attorneys at Law is acting as the owner’s representative. Trinity Garden’s is located north of The Reserve at Victoria, a public housing development on 200 acres. Trinity Gardens’ exact address is 791 South Blue Lake Avenue, Deland, Florida, 32724, in Volusia County.
