Accent Daytona is a new residential venture slated for Volusia County. Sources note that the six-acre community will offer about 250 apartments spread across five mid-rise buildings. Plans call for 47.67 units per acre.
The apartments will range from one-bedroom/one-bathroom to two-bedroom/two-bathroom layout plans. There are more than 15 different unit types to choose from. Many come with balconies or patios.
Accent Daytona will cost $37.5 million to complete. Bradshaw-Niles & Associates, Inc. is the consultant. Studio Architects and Focus Design Interiors are the project’s architects. Renderings show a community comprising multiple low-rise wood-framed buildings. Occupancy types include R-2, A-3, B, and V-A.
Construction’s expected to start in 2023, with completion aimed for the following year. Accent Daytona will require more than 200,000 square feet of new construction. Zev Cohen & Associates Inc. is the landscape architect and the civil engineer. Savant Engineering is the MEP engineer, and Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. is the geotechnical engineer. M2 Structural is the structural engineer.
Accent Daytona’s address is North Palmetto Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114, in Volusia County. The development is west of the Halifax River and east of Bethune Cookman University. Construction plans show that Accent Daytona presently rests on vacant church land.
