Prestige Building Group is currently constructing three developments that are intended to provide workforce housing. The three complexes are: Poe’s Lofts, Champion’s Lofts, and Palm Avenue Lofts. In total, the three buildings will cost $21 million to build and provide 186 units.
Of these developments, Champion’s Lofts is the mid-size building, offering 48 units on .7 acres of land. It will cost nearly 1/3 of the budget, accounting for $7 million in construction costs. Champion’s Loft will consist of two three-story buildings.
Prestige Building Group is working in tandem with Black Rivers Panthers, who helped them finance the project. Construction has not commenced at the time of publishing, and as of yet, there has not been a contractor selected for the project.
Champion’s Lofts physical address is 40 West 23rd Street, Hialeah, FL, 33010. Poe’s Lofts and Palm Avenue Lofts will be built on their own pieces of land. In terms of vicinity, Palm Avenue’s Lofts is the closest, being only a three-minute drive, according to Google Maps.
There is no information as of yet about when the projects will be completed or how much rent will cost. As noted earlier, the units are intended to provide workforce housing, which is intended to provide affordable living to middle-class residents.
