Construction is ongoing on Palmetto Industrial Park, a $229 million venture taking shape in Manatee County, FL. Florida Construction News reports that the general contractor broke ground in Summer 2022.
The project will comprise 427,000 square feet of new construction, spread across three buildings. Per the project’s brochure, buildings will range from 160,000 square feet to 107,250 square feet. The largest building will offer 127 car parking spots, four ramps, 44 dock-high doors, and 50 trailer spots.

The two 160,000-square-foot buildings measure 800 feet by 200 feet. The smaller 107,250 building measures 550 feet by 195 feet. In total, Palmetto Industrial Park calls for 354 parking spots, a storefront, a drive-in ramp, and 127 spots for trailers.
The build site measures 38.25 acres. Google Earth shows that prior to construction, the build site was undeveloped. Landmark Construction Services, which owns the site, has partnered with Stonemont Financial Group on the project.

Both intend to “bring in everyone from regional companies to larger national players.” As of July 2022, developers had not disclosed possible tenants. Yet, they hope to draw local industry suppliers and e-commerce providers.
