Homestead at Hamlin Lakes Nears End of Construction in Hamlin, FL

Homestead at Hamlin Lakes is nearing the end of construction in Central Florida, with its first residents expected to move in summer 2023. The 373-unit project broke ground in August 2021, per the Orlando Business Journal. Upon completion, the venture will rest on a sizeable build site and cost more than $80 million to complete.

Homestead at Hamlin Lakes will offer “free range apartment living;” with farm-themed amenities, including “the Barn,” a community kitchen designed for event-hosting. Another amenity is “the Stable,” which offers co-working space for remote workers.

The venture started construction in 2021.

Sources list Boyd Development, Leeward Capital, and DWS Group as three of the involved parties. Charlan Brock & Associates is the architect, and Kelly, Collins & Gentry Inc. is the engineer. Portrait Construction of Florida Inc. is the general contractor.

GrowthSpotter reports that Homestead at Hamlin Lakes is part of a larger plan to bring more multi-housing family developments to the region. The bigger initiative will deliver more than 860 multi-family units, 225 townhomes, and more than 600,000 square feet of non-residential developments.

The venture’s website reports Homestead at Hamlin Lakes’ address as 15125 Free Range Run, Horizon West, FL, 34787, in Orange County. It’s west of the Western Beltway.
