Ground has officially broken on Elemi at Grove Village, a multifamily housing complex in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. The five-story building will offer 46 apartments, ranging from 965 square feet to 1,535 square feet. Layout plans comprise one-bedroom to three-bedroom homes.
Renderings suggest that homes come with plank wood flooring, hurricane-grade windows, and “flex space.” There will be 14,000 square feet of amenities, including a second-story pool deck, outdoor entertainment kitchen, and rooftop lounge. Other offerings include a fitness center, on-site parking, and bicycle storage stations.

The developers purchased the .73-acre build site for $4 million in 2020, and they hope to finish construction by mid-2024. The South Florida Business Journal lists Silver Bluff and Abbhi Capital Group as the developers. Moss & Associates is the general contractor.
Bohler Civil Engineering and B&J Consulting are the civil engineers, and Arquitectonica is the architect. Elemi at Grove Village aims to satisfy the area’s growing need for housing. It also hopes to “honor the history” of the surrounding area. Why? In the late 1880s, Coconut Grove was home to many Caribbean immigrants, and in recent decades has seen an untick in high-end construction projects.
