Mize & Sefair Development is planning a build-to-rent community in Palmetto, Florida. Mia Bella Palmetto will comprise 30 single-family homes that will be marketed as rentals.
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, units will measure 1,812 square feet and offer four bedrooms. Each home comes with a two-car garage and two bathrooms. Conceptual renderings from Mize & Seafair Development show that the homes will measure one story and offer open-concept floorplans.
Our sources indicate that an affiliate of Mize & Sefair Development purchased the 10-acre lot for $450,000 in May 2022. Google Earth’s most recent renderings show that as of December 2022, the parcel was undeveloped and vacant at the time of purchase.
Construction is anticipated to start on Mia Bella Palmetto once developers have secured all necessary permits. Completion is planned for the third quarter of 2025 if everything goes according to plan. Mia Bella Palmetto joins an emerging trend of build-to-rent single-family homes in Florida.
One such community is Marisol, a 172-unit complex with single-story homes measuring 1,434 to 1,524 square feet. It was purchased in a forward sale by an institutional investor advised by J.P. Morgan Global Alternatives.
Mia Bella Palmetto could soon start construction at 1955 49th Street East, Palmetto, FL, 34221, in Manatee County.
