Florida YIMBY has learned of various projects that plan to bring extended stay hotels in Jacksonville and Palm Springs.

The Duval County venture involves two four-story hotels, with one offering 92 rooms and the other offering 124. The Jacksonville Business Journal notes that Integrated Construction will build both hotels, and they will be under the Extended Stay America banner.

Integrated Construction recently secured a $9.1 million permit from the city on July 1st and is waiting to hear back regarding a $8.5 million permit. Sources indicate that the two ventures are 12.8 miles away from each other, about an 18-minute drive. The future site of the 124-room hotel at 15678 Max Leggett Parkway is currently vacant, while 92-unit’s site at 8305 Dames Point Crossing Blvd. is in a similar condition.

The South Florida Business Journal brings to light another extended stay hotel project: two four-story hotels in Palm Springs. The hotel under the WoodSpring Suites banner would offer 122 rooms and comprise 48,660 square feet. The other, an Everhome Suites, would require 57,971 square feet of new construction and offer 114 rooms. Amenities include a swimming pool, in-unit kitchens, and surface parking.

Those two hotels are set for 2645 10th Avenue North, Palm Springs, FL, 33461, in Miami-Dade County.
