In 2022, Florida YIMBY reported on Presidium Regal, a multi-family housing development that would replace a defunct Regal Cinema in Jacksonville. Now, close to two years later, we’re pleased to announce that the venture has reached completion, marking Texas-based Presidium’s fourth multifamily complex since 2017.
Our original report noted that the gated community would offer 334 homes, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments. Homes range from 551 to 1,560 square feet each, and rent costs $1,470 to $2,895 a month, according to the venture’s website. RentCafé notes that the average rent for a 976-square-foot apartment in Jacksonville costs $1,498 a month.
In-unit offerings at Presidium Regal include keyless entry and integrated smart home technology. Communal amenities include (but are not limited to) a 2,000-square-foot fitness center, zero-edge pool, and co-working lounge.
As noted, Presidium is the developer. Greystar is the managing partner, and Dwell Design Studio did the interior design. Florida YIMBY recently reported on another venture the Atlanta-based firm completed: J. Ardin at Apopka, a 304-unit development in Central Florida. like Presidium Regal, rent hovers around the same price point.
Presidium Regal is located at 14501 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL, 32250, in Duval County. It lies east of I-295 and north of Florida State Road 202.
