Regal Apartments to Replace Defunct Movie Theater at 14051 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL, 32250

Regal Cinemas, a movie theater in Jacksonville, FL, will soon make way for a multi-family housing development. Dubbed “Regal Apartments,” the $41 million venture will offer 334 housing units. The project comprises five four-story buildings. The community itself calls for more than 480,000 square feet of new construction and sits on 15.07 acres.

The Jacksonville Daily Record notes that amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, and car care center. Regal Apartments offers 503 parking spots, with 52 of those spaces being in garages. The publication noted that the developers requested 10 permits to get the “green light” on construction.

Regal Apartments will replace this movie theater, which will be demolished.

Construction’s expected to start soon on Regal Apartments. LandSouth Construction is the general contractor. Based out of Jacksonville, the firm presently has 27 active projects, mostly in the private residential sector. Dix. Hite & Partners, Inc. is the landscape architect, and Connelly & Wicker Inc. is the civil engineer.

Dwell Design Studio Headquarters is the architect. Renderings show a grey, white, and blue facade with balconies. Presidium Group LLC, which is based out of Texas, owns the venture. It recently finished construction on Presidium Town Center Apartments, which is also in Jacksonville.

The 15.07-acre build site will make way for 334 housing units.

Regal Apartments’ address is 14051 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL, 32250, in Duval County.
