‘The Cade’ Planned for 250 Mirror Lake Drive North, St. Petersburg, Florida

Florida YIMBY has an update regarding a boutique housing project we covered back in September 2024. At the time of publication, our report shared that Backstreets Capital had secured approval for The Cade from the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission.

Now, sales have launched, with the cost of homeownership starting at $1.7 million. Plans call for just 15 luxury residences occupying the mid-rise building’s second through seventh floors. Floors two through five would comprise 13 three-bedroom residences measuring 2,169 to 2,302 square feet; floors six and seven would host two four-bedroom penthouses spanning 3,420 square feet.

For both the condos and penthouses, in-unit amenities will include freestanding soaking tubs, kitchen islands, and showers with frameless enclosures. Future owners would also have the ability to curate their own living space through custom-ordered cabinetry, countertops, and flooring. Some amenities include a second-story covered patio and plunge pool, a fitness center, and a reading nook, along with other extensive offerings.

As noted, Backstreets Capital is the developer. The St. Petersburg-based firm was also behind The Nolen and The Salvador condominiums, two developments in Downtown St. Petersburg. The Cade is slated for 250 Mirror Lake Drive North, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33701, in Pinellas County.
