Miami-based Housing Trust Group has proposed the second phase of Princeton Park. The addition comes eight years after the completion of its first phase, which presently hosts 150 apartments in three stories.
The second phase would require close to 80,000 square feet of new construction and feature 108 apartments in eight stories. Homes would include one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, measuring 650 to 1,000 square feet. Amenities would include a swimming pool atop a 229-spot parking garage, along with an additional 86 surface parking spots. The parking would serve Princeton Park’s first and second phases.

An affiliate of Housing Trust Group, HTG Princeton Park LLC, is the developer. The firm also spearheaded Courtside II, a two-building venture that would yield 120 residences.
Princeton Park II is in its pre-application phase, where developers hope to get feedback from community members and city officials before advancing with formal proceedings. Corwil Architects is the architect. The Coral Gables-based firm also designed a two-tower, 302-unit venture in Kendall. That venture would reserve 120 workforce housing units for households earning within 60 to 140 percent of the area median income (AMI).
Princeton Park II would occupy 8.5 acres, specifically located at 13105 S.W. 248th St., Princeton, Florida, 33032, in Miami-Dade County.
