Florida YIMBY has an update regarding a high-rise apartment project that we first covered in 2023. Our initial report shared that a venture, then known to us as LeCesse 18th Street Tower, would measure 18 stories and offer 279 residential units. Now, our sources are sharing that developer WSLD St. Petersburg LLC has filed plans to go vertical.
Residences at LeCesse 18th Street Tower would range from studios to two-bedroom floorplans, measuring 550 to 1,200 square feet. Floors two through five would be a parking garage, while the sixth floor would host both residences and communal amenities. Those include a swimming pool. The remaining floors (seven through 18) would exclusively be apartments.

As noted, WSLD St. Petersburg LLC is the developer. The firm is related to LeCesse Development Corp. and Whitestone Development Partners, who are based in Central Florida and New York, respectively.
LeCesse 18th Street Tower isn’t the only project in LeCesse Development Corp.’s pipeline; the firm is also working on another venture: The Marby. That project is planned to measure seven stories and feature 320 residences. It will replace an Office Depot in Tampa.
LeCesse 18th Street Tower is set for 201 18th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33713, in Pinellas County.
