Architectural crowns have been installed atop LOFTY Brickell and The Standard Residences, Brickell, marking a major construction milestone for the One Brickell Riverfront development in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Developed by Newgard Group and Two Roads Development and designed by Arquitectonica, the pair of residential towers are rising at 99 SW Seventh Street along the Miami River, immediately northwest of Brickell City Centre.

The newly installed crowns complete the towers’ final architectural height and expression, giving the buildings the distinctive profiles envisioned by Arquitectonica. Now visible throughout Brickell, Downtown Miami, and along the Miami River, the structures have become increasingly prominent features of Miami’s evolving skyline.

The milestone follows the topping out of both towers by general contractor G.T. McDonald in January 2026. Construction is now progressing into the next phase, with crews continuing work on the towers’ exteriors and interior build-outs ahead of an anticipated August 2027 completion.

“For buyers who first fell in love with the project through renderings, seeing the crowns in place marks the moment their dream becomes an undeniable reality,” said Harvey Hernandez, CEO of Newgard Group. “What started on paper is now a full-scale landmark, and we could not be prouder of the team that made it happen.”

“The crown milestone signals to the market, and our buyers, that the finish line is well within sight,” said Brad Meltzer, Partner and President of Two Roads Development. “One Brickell Riverfront is becoming exactly what we promised – a defining piece of Miami’s riverfront and new standard for urban residential living.”

LOFTY Brickell rises 44 stories and will contain 362 fully furnished studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences, along with penthouses. Interiors are designed by INC Architecture & Design. The tower will feature approximately 40,000 square feet of amenities, including a private marina, resort-style pool deck, fitness center, spa, cigar lounge, and coworking spaces. The ground floor will also house AVRA Estiatorio overlooking the Miami River.

Adjacent to LOFTY, The Standard Residences, Brickell rises 46 stories and will yield 422 fully furnished studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences with interiors by GOODRICH. Planned amenities include a rooftop pool, The Standard Club Lounge and Café, coworking spaces, a 10th-floor spa with hammam, saunas and cold plunge facilities, a bowling alley, pet spa, screening room, and signature dining venues.

The two towers occupy one of the last major undeveloped riverfront sites in Brickell. The development secured $513 million in construction financing in late 2025, among the largest residential construction loans closed in South Florida that year. Newgard Group and Two Roads Development announced their partnership on the project in 2024 with plans to redevelop the waterfront parcel into a two-tower residential development.
