26-Unit ‘Garage San Jose’ Planned for Q4 2027 Completion at 2890 University Blvd. W., Jacksonville, Florida

Construction has started on a luxury automotive venture in Northeast Florida.

Garage San Jose is slated to feature 30,000 square feet of new construction and host 26 vehicle storage suites. Each climate-controlled unit will span 1,042 to 1,100 square feet. Rentals start at $3,500 a month, with the option to include additional upgrades.

The Jacksonville Business Journal reports that Garage San Jose is more than a unique development focused on luxury vehicle storage; it also represents a partnership between two Jacksonville-based families, the Huntley family and the Sleiman family, who comprise S&H Development.

The firm purchased the project’s two-acre build site for $1.975 million in March 2026. Completion is anticipated for fall 2027. Impact Design Build and 4k Construction are leading the construction element. Bold Line Design LLC is the interior designer, and Almond Engineering is the civil engineer.

Garage San Jose isn’t the only endeavor of its kind unfolding in the Sunshine State. In May 2026, Florida YIMBY covered Palm Beach Auto Haus, a “auto condo” located in its namesake city. Our report indicated that the multi-million-dollar venture would host 20 private garages in two stories.
