A $27 million multifamily housing complex is undergoing construction in Winter Haven, FL. RainDance Luxury Apartments is a six-story development that will comprise 105 units.
The one-bedroom units will cost $1,485 a month, and the two-bedroom units will cost $1,895 a month, according to the Ledger. Residents can enjoy on-site amenities such as a fitness center, business center, and pool.
The Construction Journal reports that general contractor Kast Construction Company LLC broke ground on the venture in May 2021. Ideally, units will become available in the second quarter of 2022. RainDance Luxury Apartments is owned by DevMar Development LLC, which has two active projects right now. The land itself is owned by Six/Ten, LLC, which is based locally in Winter Haven.
The Central Florida Planning Council hopes that the apartments will achieve three goals over the next 10 years. First, the project hopes to bring more than 900 residents to Polk County. It also hopes that RainDance Luxury Apartments will add $14 million to Polk County’s gross domestic product (GDP). Finally, if everything works out, the residence will yield 163 jobs and create $15 million in personal disposable income.
RainDance Luxury Apartments’ is listed as being located near “Avenue C and Second Street near Grove Roots Brewing Co.” As noted, it’s located in Polk County, FL, 33880.
