Assisted Living Facility with 192 Beds Proposed for Aventura, FL

Plans are underway for a new assisted living facility in Aventura, FL. Belmont Village Senior Living has multiple locations across the United States, with facilities in California, Florida, Illinois, and other states. Now, it has its sights set on a new location in Miami-Dade County.

The proposed facility will rise 11 stories above grade and rest on 1.4 acres. Amenities include an on-site health and wellness center, dining room, and communal spaces. Sixty trained healthcare professionals will also be on-site to help seniors achieve a “Whole Brain Fitness” lifestyle.

The facility will feature 60 on-site healthcare professionals. Rendering per Corwil Architects, Inc.

The project requires over 174,000 square feet of new construction, offering 192 beds. The premises also offers more than 150 parking spots, which employees, residents, and visitors can enjoy.

Turnberry Associates owns the venture. The South Florida-based organization presently has six active projects in the private residential, heavy & highway, and commercial sectors. Per the South Florida Business Journal, Turnberry Associates also developed the Aventura Mall and the Turnberry Isle Country Club. Belmont Village is the developer.

The 11-story building features a library, dining hall, and other communal spaces. Rendering per Corwil Architects, Inc.

Corwil Architects, Inc. is the architect. It shared conceptual renderings online, showing outdoor balconies, landscaped courtyards, and what appears to be a patio on the seventh or eighth floor.

The proposed build site is on the “southeast corner of East Country Club Drive and Yacht Club Way.” Construction hasn’t started yet.

  1. This is so unnecessary for a community that is already dense with infrastructure. Stop the over development of every city. So greedy!

  2. You are creating an accident about to happen. With no entry or exit to that property that is safe you are setting yourself up for one hell of a lawsuit when that accident, and it will happen, happens. I hope nobody signs up to live there. Disgusting.

  3. Horrible proyect in a tiny piece of land. Greediness at its best.
