Austin-based Aspen Heights Partners, an owner and developer of multiple lifestyle-oriented residential communities, has announced it recently broke ground on Aspen Heights Tampa, a 67-unit student-oriented residential community located at 3020 Cove Bend Drive near the northern-most city limits of Tampa. Designed by Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects, the project is comprised of boutique cottage-style townhome buildings, arranged in two-story row homes in clusters of 4 – 6 unit, and three-story row homes of 7 and 8 units. The project is located approximately one mile from the University of South Florida campus and close by to popular restaurants, bars and pubs in the neighboring district.

“We’ve been seeing a strong demand in the South Florida market, which has become very attractive to incoming students eager to socialize and learn in an in-person setting once again, while experiencing the beautiful Florida weather,” said David Helfrich, President of Development at Aspen Heights Partners. “Aspen Heights Tampa will be an exciting opportunity for students to be close to campus while also maintaining an off-campus living experience at a truly unique property.”

“These past few years have proven that community is more important than ever,” Helfrich said. “By providing an elevated living experience that combines comfort, wellness, and dedicated areas for studying, we’re promoting community building, which has become so crucial.”

A quarter of the units will include four bedrooms while the remaining majority will be five-bedroom units. On-site amenities at Aspen Heights Tampa will include a resort-style swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, computer/study center, resident lounge, business center, and 315 parking spaces. Units will include high-end finishes and stainless steel appliances, in addition to in-unit washers and dryers.

Aspen Heights Tampa is slated to open in Fall of 2022.
