Site plan applications have been filed for Palmaire, a 7-story residential building proposed to rise at 2606 Palm Aire Drive North in Pompano Beach. The interior lot is located west of Powerline Road, bound by North Palm Aire Drive on the south and Plam Aire Drive North on the north and situated adjacent to the Palm Aire Country Club. Designed by Miami-based GS Architecture with EGS2 Corp as the landscape architect for Miami-based developer Premium Development, Inc., the development is projected to yield 120,463 square feet of new construction over a 2.22-acre site, including 77,329 square feet of residential space across 99 units and 133 parking spaces.
The structure would rise 75-feet, comprised of two wings of 6 stories (East wing) and 7 stories (Nest wing), and designed as an all-connected L-shaped building which would occupy the southern portion of the development site. The main entrance would be located on the south end of the East wing connected to a private covered port-cochere. The exterior of the building would feature white-painted smooth stucco perimeter walls with decorative trellises and aluminum-frame glass windows.

Rental residences would come in one-bedroom and two-bedroom arrangements, ranging in size between 694 square feet and 1000 square feet. Residential amenities include a landscaped pool deck, a fitness center, common lounging areas and an accessible rooftop for recreational use.
BJ Consulting Engineers is listed as the structural engineer, and MEP Design Group LLC as the MEP Engineer. Miami-based Graef is the civil engineer. Premium Development, Inc. is the U.S. branch of Austria-based real estate developer Premium Group.
The site plan application is on schedule for review with the Development Review Committee of Pompano Beach on January 19, 2022.
