In August 2021, TC Palm shared some exciting news: Indian River County’s tourism revenue was nearly back to pre-pandemic levels. To accommodate both in-state and out-of-state visitors, a Home2 Suites is coming to Vero Beach, FL. The project’s estimated to cost $7.3 million.
Construction began in May 2021, with Coastal Choice Construction LLC operating as the general contractor. Anderson Architecture, Inc. designed the hotel, and Atlantic Civil Engineering Inc. is the civil engineer.
The build site measures 1.36 acres.
Construction’s expected to end in the second quarter of 2022, ideally in June. City records show that the project was approved in June 2019, roughly two years before construction began.
The hotel will measure three stories above grade and include 80 units. In total, the hotel requires more than 49,000 square feet of new construction, and it rests on 1.36 acres. Like most Home2 Suites, the location will offer breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and a fitness center.

The new Home2 Suites isn’t the only hotel in the area. There is also a nearby Comfort Suites off I-95. The new hotel’s address is 9060 Americana Way, Vero Beach, FL, 32966, in Indian River County. It will join Hilton’s network of over 300 Hilton2 Suites in North America. The organization began offering these accommodations in 2009.
