Mosaico is nearing completion in Miami-Dade, FL. The 13-story building will offer more than 250 residential units. Units include “oversized” studios and one-bedroom units. Studios measure 450 square feet, and one-bedroom units measure 580 square feet. The community’s geared toward seniors living in South Florida.
Ground broke on the venture in the fourth quarter of 2020 and, according to Seniors Housing Business, would take about 18 months to complete. If all goes according to schedule, it will finish construction sometime in the second quarter of 2022. The $58 million project will comprise more than 284,000 square feet of new construction and feature close to 200 parking spots.
The 1.2-acre community will offer affordable housing units. It was created in partnership with Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corp. Interurban, an affiliate of Integra Investments, also co-owns the venture, according to the Miami Herald.
CC Hodgson Architectural Group designed the project. Renderings show a high-rise building with a beige and white neutral-colored facade. Some units appear to come with balconies. CC Hodgson Architectural Group, which is based in Fort Lauderdale, presently has four active projects, all in the private residential sector.
Mosaico’s address is 1385 Northwest 35th Street, Miami, FL, 33142, in Miami-Dade County.
